*Session Selection Update

ADTA no longer requires registrants to pre-select the session programming they plan to attend. Registrants will only select their Intensives. That means no more pre-selecting, second-guessing, or trying to remember what you signed up for months in advance. Whether your plans change, a session is canceled, or a new topic sparks your interest, you are free to attend the conference sessions that best fit your needs.

Why This Change?
In the past, CE credits were tied to session pre-registration, which meant missed selections could lead to missed credits. Director of Continuing Education and Organizational Operations, Molly Berrios, will track workshop attendance in real time, so your CE credits are applied accurately.

What This Means for You
• Register on-site with ease.
• Attend the workshops that are most relevant or exciting to you.
• Adjust your plans if a session is canceled and still receive the CE credits you earn.

What If a Workshop Fills Up?
Presenters have set attendee caps, and popular sessions have been placed in larger rooms whenever possible. We have planned for strong turnout while keeping space and participation needs in mind.

Introducing ADTA's New Member Referral Discount

ADTA members can earn a $50 credit toward registration for the 62nd Annual Conference in Chicago, IL for each new, non-member attendee they refer who registers and attends the 61st Annual Conference in Long Beach. Instructions for claiming the member credit will be provided in Spring 2027.  Each new, non-member referred will use a special code to register at the discounted member rate. Instructions for non-members registering by referral will appear after selecting their registration options and will require entering the referring ADTA member contact details to receive the discount.

ADTA 61 Conference Sliding Scale Program

The ADTA has been looking at ways our association can provide our membership a more affordable experience. We are happy to provide a Conference fee sliding scale again this year. We would like to provide ADTA members the opportunity to cut the total cost of their Conference fee based on how much they can afford to pay. The Sliding Scale applies to current ADTA members except student members. (Student members already have a significantly discounted registration rate.) There is limited availability. Access to Sliding Scale is on a first come, first served basis. Please note that the sliding scale cannot be applied to intensives. You will be able to choose a sliding scale option later in the registration form.

Letter Of Invitation (For Visa And Other Purposes)

Paid attendees and/or presenters may email [email protected] to receive an invitation letter (pdf format). If you must apply for a temporary non-immigrant visa to attend the ADTA 61st Annual Conference you are advised to apply as soon as travel to the United States. APPLY EARLY! ADTA offers an official letter of invitation for attendees. The visa letter of invitation though not required for the visa application can assist as a supporting document. Present this letter of invitation from the ADTA to the consular officer during the visa interview. This letter does not guarantee admittance into the U.S. but can provide compelling evidence for immigration officials to consider. Please note that ADTA cannot intervene with either U.S. embassies abroad or with the U.S. State Department on behalf of any participant.
