Dancing Forward: Resilience and Recovery in Therapy

As communities and individuals navigate substance dependence, eating disorders, natural disasters, grief and loss, and collective trauma, the field of dance/movement therapy (DMT) continues to play a vital role in supporting recovery and restoring resilience and inner-strength. Whether addressing trauma, illness, burnout, identity, or community rebuilding, we welcome clinically grounded proposals that demonstrate the efficacy of DMT through evidence-based interventions, interdisciplinary collaboration, and long-term recovery support—highlighting how dance/movement therapy positively contributes to the overall therapeutic process.
