Ground TransportationO’Hare International Airport (ORD) is approximately 20 miles (45-60 minutes depending on traffic) from the Palmer House Hilton. Taxis are available outside the baggage claim for approximately $50.00 each way. Uber and Lyft are also available and are approximately 2/3 the cost. The subway is the most cost effective means of traveling to the hotel from the airport. Take the train downtown and get off at Monroe St. Come up to the street level and make a right to State Street. The hotel is two short blocks away and the cost is approximately $2.50 Midway International Airport (MDW) is approximately 12 miles (30 minutes depending on traffic) from the Palmer House Hilton. Taxis are available outside the baggage claim for approximately $35.00 each way. Uber and Lyft are also available and are approximately 2/3 the cost. The subway (the El) is the most cost effective means of traveling to the hotel from the airport. Take the El and get off at Adams & Wabash. The hotel is right there. The cost is approximately $1.50. Parking: The hotel offers self-parking only. ADTA participants will receive a parking rate of $8.00 day/night down from $15.00.
