Ground Transportation

O’Hare International Airport (ORD) is approximately 20 miles (45-60 minutes depending on traffic) from the Palmer House Hilton. Taxis are available outside the baggage claim for approximately $50.00 each way. Uber and Lyft are also available and are approximately 2/3 the cost.

The subway is the most cost effective means of traveling to the hotel from the airport. Take the train downtown and get off at Monroe St. Come up to the street level and make a right to State Street. The hotel is two short blocks away and the cost is approximately $2.50

Midway International Airport (MDW) is approximately 12 miles (30 minutes depending on traffic) from the Palmer House Hilton. Taxis are available outside the baggage claim for approximately $35.00 each way. Uber and Lyft are also available and are approximately 2/3 the cost.

The subway (the El) is the most cost effective means of traveling to the hotel from the airport. Take the El and get off at Adams & Wabash. The hotel is right there. The cost is approximately $1.50.

Parking: The hotel offers self-parking only. ADTA participants will receive a parking rate of $8.00 day/night down from $15.00.

Hotel Policies

Early Departure Fee: Should a guest check out prior to their confirmed  check out date (reconfirmed at time of check-in), hotel will charge an early check out fee of $25.00/night.

Smoke Free – the entire hotel complex/property is smoke free.

Pet Policy – Pets Welcome. Dogs only allowed with non-refundable fee of USD $100 per room per stay. Maximum Number of Pets in Room: 1
